OPP busy over long weekend

DufferIn OPP were kept busy over the holiday weekend. Here is a break down of local traffic charge statistics.
Speeding 53, Seatbelt 4, Distracted Driving 2, Moving Violations 24, Impaired Driving1, 3 Day Licence Suspensions 9, Motor Vehicle Collisions10, Traffic Complaints 6
On October 12, on Dufferin Road 109 eastbound OPP officers observed a 2007 Hyundai Accent weaving in its lane.
A traffic stop was initiated and a female driver was arrested for impaired driving taken to Orangeville Police Station for breath test.
As result of police investigation Susan Boutsakis, 53 years of age from Saugeen Shores was charged with Impaired Driving and Operate Motor vehicle over 80 mgs. She will appear in Orangeville court at a later date to answer to the charge.
