Children's programs:
The Halloween story time was a fun time with games, music, and refreshments.
Thank you to all who participated, and helped tidy up afterward. This week's story time is Moon and stars. Be sure to join us for more stories and crafts. We will soon be having Christmas stories starting the last week in November.
Teen Scene:
Our last book club meeting had a small, but very enthusiastic group who discussed the spooky titles they had selected to read for Halloween. The discussion was lively, and everyone's reading list got longer after the meeting. This month, we are taking a break from crafting in lieu of a few weeks of creative writing. We will discuss a weekly theme, present a few tips on crafting a unique and well-written story.
New books:
We have received all the new books for the Children's, YA, and Adults Forest of Reading Initiative. That is Silver Birch, Red Maple etc. They should be processed and available for circulation next week.
