Shelburne Legion


The branch will be having it's annual Remembrance Day service on Wednesday, November 11th. Please arrive at the Warriors Hall for 9:30 a.m., service begins at 10 a.m. sharp followed by a march to the Cenotaph at 10:40 a.m. for that 11 a.m. service. There will be a light lunch and refreshments in the Museum Room following the services.
Tickets for the dinner are on sale now for $15 each with a meet and greet at 5 p.m. followed by dinner at 6 p.m.
The Early Bird Membership campaign runs until November 30th. Come in and pay next years dues for $45. As of December 1st the dues are $55.
There is still available positions for the Poppy Campaign this weekend, just go in and sign your name up to the location where you would like to be.
Saturday November 7th the Orangeville Community Band will be having a Free concert in the Warriors Hall at 7 p.m.
Friday November the 13th is another wing night with entertainment by Wasted Measures.
Thursday November 19th the Ladies Auxiliary will be hosting their monthly luncheon with spaghetti and meat balls with caesar salad, lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Everybody at the branch is a volunteer, we work very hard to keep the prices down and give the community a place to go. Volunteers are needed daily, if you are interested in helping out please contact the branch 519 925-3800. Thank you to everyone for volunteering your time!
The Fire Department and the Branch will be running a Food Drive until Christmas. Financial or food donations can be dropped off to the bartender.
