Leaping right off the walls

‘Ghost Rabbits' (left) and ‘Emil' (right) paintings by popular Dufferin artist Gail Prussky were part of her opening art show Raised in Captivity on November 1st at Dufferin County Museum and Archives (DCMA.) “I'm thrilled to have a show in the silo at the museum,” said Prussky. “It's a beautiful space, full of natural light and my paintings leap off the walls.” “Sarah Robinson (DCMA Curator) and Darrell Keenie (DCMA General Manager) did an awesome job of hanging the art. The opening party was crowded and people had a blast. Watching reactions to my work is always fun for me. It's not enough to make art...having people see it is a very important part of the process. It would be like singing to an empty room.”
