Goodbye Dear EdwinaThe cast and crew of LP Stage Productions Dear Edwina said goodbye to another successful show. The 31 kids of the show sang and danced - entertaining to good crowds all weekend at Grace Tipling Hall as well as completing a fantastic tour at local schools The upbeat musical about a quirky gang of young advice-givers was filled with show stopping song and dance numbers that filled the little stage at Grace Tipling to the brim. Audiences responded with hoots and cheers as the cast members, some as young as five years old, gave it their all to deliver one excellent performance after another. LP Stage Productions removed the set, which included a working garage door and a functional swing on Sunday, but they won't be gone for long. The production company returns to put up the set for Spamalot this weekend to prepare for dress and technical rehearsals and a new opening on December 3rd. The Tony Award winning Broadway production Spamalot is an “off the wall” musical comedy based on the 1975 film Monty Python and the Holy Grail - a saucy parody of the legendary tale of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. Spamalot directed by Alison Port, plays at Grace Tipling Hall Thursday – Sunday, December 3rd – Dec 13th: evenings at 8 p.m. with 2 p.m. matinées Saturdays and Sundays. Photo by Marni Walsh |
