The Wolves made short work of game 1 by defeating their opponents from the Kingston area by a score of 6–1. The line of Decker, Falls and Fazackerley put five pucks in the net and the sixth goal was a highlight reel when defense Taylor unleashed a rising rocket from just outside our blue line that found the top corner; the crowd erupted in cheer. Game 2 was a slow starter for our Wolves against a team from Orono but the solid goal tending of Woollett kept our boys in the hunt and they found their legs in the third and pulled out a 1–0 win on a goal from Decker and secured our Wolves a berth in finals. The Championship game against Brighton, proved to be a real battle with a fast paced game still scoreless mid-way through the third when a rush by defensive veteran Gordanier and a spectacular back of the net wrap-around secured our Wolves a 1–0 win and their name engraved on the championship trophy! The Shelburne Wolves Midget Rep team is currently in second place in league standings with a 9–5–1 record and one win behind first place. The Wolves will be looking for your support as they try to improve their position this Friday night when they face Owen Sound at home at 9 p.m. --------------------------------------------------- Images: --------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------- Post date: 2015-12-14 15:20:43 Post date GMT: 2015-12-14 20:20:43 Post modified date: 2015-12-22 10:40:07 Post modified date GMT: 2015-12-22 15:40:07 ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Export of Post and Page as text file has been powered by [ Universal Post Manager ] plugin from www.gconverters.com
