On Friday December 11, at 7:50 a.m., Dufferin OPP were conducting speed enforcement on Airport road at 5th Sideroad in Mono.
Police observed a southbound 2011 Suzuki sedan travelling at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was clocked in radar at 142 km per hour in a posted 80 km zone.
A traffic stop was initiated and as a result of a police investigation a 54 year male, from Stayner, was charged with Racing.
The accused's vehicle and driver's license were seized for 7 days. He will appear in Orangeville court at a later date.
