Shelburne arena newsThe Canadian Blood Services is hosting a Blood Donor Clinic at the CDRC on Wednesday, December 23rd from 3:30–6:30 p.m. Now is your chance to donate your blood and save a life. What an amazing Christmas gift; for someone to find out their lives will continue. The CDRC Holiday Skating Schedule will begin with Free public skating on December 20th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd at 1pm. Shinny hockey is scheduled December 21st, 22nd and 23rd at 11 a.m. for peewee and younger and noon for bantam and midget. Cost for shinny hockey is $5 per player, full equipment is required. The CDRC will be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Come out and see the Senior AA Shelburne Muskies Hockey Club at 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 19th. They will play an Alumni Game against 1997–98 WOAA Champions and Intermediate 1980 Ontario Champions. Admission is $3 or a can of food to help out the local food bank. Don't miss it. Go Muskies Go! The Shelburne Sharks do not have a game scheduled until Monday, January 4th at 8:30 p.m. against the Parry Sound Islanders. Mark your calendars. By Lexy Roballo |
