Shelburne Legion NewsBy Lesa Peat Thank you to Zone E3 mixed dart players for a fantastic day on March 5. After a very long day, Beeton Legion came in first and Shelburne placed second in the teams category. Congratulations to all those players that have advanced. This Friday, March 11, we will have a Meat Spin with roaster chickens or outside round beef roasts available to win. Play begins at 7 p.m. Let's all wear red to show our support to the troops. It would be amazing if everybody in attendance wore red. On Saturday, March 12, it's Newfie Nite! Cocktails are served at 6.30 p.m. and the Scoff is at 7 p.m., followed by the Scuff at 8 p.m. DJ Bernie Blanchard and Boys will be entertaining with live music as well as DJ-ing. Price per person is $20.00 if you are a card carrying Legion member, $25.00 if you are not. The price is the same if you have the Jigs dinner or not. Sunday March 13 is another monthly breakfast with bacon, eggs, home fries, beans, tomatoes, toast and juice, all for the low price of $7 for adults and $4 for children. Vendors are welcome to come and sell their wares that day. Our next Wing Night is March 18 with DJ Sassy Sandra. |
