This week is going to be an amazing week at YOUR library

Thursday, August 18 @ 2:00 pm

CHILDREN AND YOUTH CARNIVAL

 2:00 pm - Canadian author, Maria Gallaugher reading, Red Sparrow's Glorious Maritime Adventure for the younger children.

2:30 – Indoor and outdoor games, face painting, henna and MUSIC

4:00 - BBQ in our parking Lot.

 6:00 - Erin Bow, the exciting YA author of The Scorpion Rules will be talking about writing and publishing in Canada.

BUTTERFLY CONSERVATORY

Butterfly Conservatory will be here providing an exciting and educational experience.

Children will be able to see the creatures up close, learn about their habitat and even touch some of them if they want.

TD SUMMER READING CLUB, GRAND FINALE

Find out how many books were read. Who read the most books and be prepared for fun and games as well. Prizes galore and a new book for every child attending. See the results of all the fun WILD summer activities.

Mystery and Mayhem: Authors in the Hills of Mulmur

Mystery and Mayhem in Mulmur features four of Canada's “most wanted.” Ken Weber, In the Hills columnist and author of the Five Minute Mysteries and moderator Ian Hamilton will be talking about The Princeling of Nanjing the ninth book in his popular Ava Lee crime series. Inger Ash Wolfe will be discussing his latest book, The Night Bell.

Steve Burrows, one of the hottest new mystery authors in Canada, has a new book called The Cast of Falcons.

Tickets are available for $35 at Shelburne Public Library, BookLore, The Township of Mulmur, Dufferin County Museum and Archives and at www.pegrampicnics.com/mystery. This includes meeting the authors and enjoying delicious hors d'oevres and refreshments. Bring a friend and enjoy a wonderful Sunday afternoon in August.
