Speaking my mindDear editor: There are three subjects I would like to address in this letter. I will be as brief as possible with each: 1) This disgusting situation with the Shelburne hospital. The Shelburne Veterans Association is absolutely right. What a scam. Four million dollars of taxpayers money to turn a hospital into a subsidized dump. Has Dufferin County Council no backbone? Shame on the ones who supported this nonsense. 2) The Ontario corrupt government. Shame on the NDP and the Tories for letting these criminals continue to rob the taxpayers blind. They had a chance to get them out but lost all their credibility over a few goodies handed down by an unelected corrupt Premier. Corruption in the highest form (IE) (E. Health) (Our Orange) (Gas Plants) Over one billion taxpayers dollars stolen. 3) The ad in the paper last week from Dufferin wind power. Is truth in advertising dead? It says they will contribute millions to the community. That money comes from taxpayers pockets from the corrupt Ontario liberal government, not them. They say it will help maintain farming.The opposite is true. The subsidies from wind power will double or triple hydro rates for years to come, and fill the pockets of the wind power company, who learned early on how to suck money from a crooked government.
