Reminder to Secure Bikes and Skate Boards:

Now that the weather is warmer out the Shelburne Police has been investigating an increasing amount of incidents involving lost or stolen bicycles and skate boards.  In most of these cases bikes or skate boards are left unattended and insecure in parks, at plazas or other public places.

The Shelburne Police is reminding all cyclists and boarders to never leave these valuables unattended or unlocked – especially for an extended period of time. The use of good quality bike locks, or having a friend keep watch of a skate board while going into a convenience store will reduce the odds of becoming a victim significantly.

If anyone has any information in regards to the theft of property, or the location of any stolen property, please contact the Shelburne Police at 519-925-3312 or crime stoppers.
