Daytime B&E’s


Nottawasaga OPP are looking for the public's assistance with regards to several residential Break and Enter (B & E) calls in Adjala-Tosorontio Township and the Dufferin OPP area.

In total, there were seven calls for break and enters in the Nottawasaga and Dufferin OPP area, the homeowners return to their homes to find them insecure and jewellery stolen.

Police have determined that the suspects are a male and a female in their 40's and they appear to be of European descent. In some of the cases, the couple approach the rural residence offering to do lawn maintenance or a similar false purpose to determine whether the residence is occupied during the day.

Police are asking for the public's assistance in working with Police on this investigation, if you see any suspicious vehicles or people in your rural area, please contact the OPP immediately at 1-888-310-1122, Police are looking for anything suspicious, not matter how small the detail.  Information such as physical descriptions, suspect vehicles and direction of travel are useful tools for investigators.
