Shelburne Street Festival changes

The Ontario Ministry of Transportation refused to authorize the closure of Highway 89 and Highway 10 North on July 15 to facilitate the Shelburne Street Festival. As such, the event will now be held on several town-owned roads in the downtown core.

The following roads in Shelburne will now be closed from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday: First Ave. from Owen Sound St. to James St., William St. from Highway 89 to O'Flynn St., Second Ave. from Owen Sound St. to William St. and Robert St. from Owen Sound St. to William St.

If you live on these streets, Town Staff are urging you to move your vehicle to a location beyond the closures the event before, or before 6 a.m. on June 15 to avoid any further inconvenience.
