Paving scamNottawasaga OPP received information about a possible paving scam July 3, in the Town of New Tecumseth. Upon further investigation, police have learned that the homeowner was approached in his yard and offered a deal to have his driveway paved for $700–800 on the original quote and then the final bill was $4200. Dufferin OPP and Durham Region have reported similar incidents in Dufferin County stemming back from the end of April 2013.
