Shelburne Cricket Club holds exhibition at Museum of Dufferin

The Shelburne Cricket Club was present at the multicultural event sponsored by the Dufferin County Multicultural Foundation at the Museum of Dufferin (MoD)on Saturday, June 11.

The club was honored to have its exhibition at the MoD. Cricket's history in Dufferin County and its future was perfectly displayed by the Museum of Dufferin.

For all Cricket lovers interested, the exhibition is up at the MoD for two months. The club participated in the multicultural event by having an exhibition game at the museum teaching local people the rules and pleasures of playing Cricket.

On a side note, this Sunday (June 12), Shelburne Gladiators had a game with Shelburne Warriors.

It was the highest scoring game so far in the league with the Shelburne Warriors scoring 178 runs on the board.

We had the season's first half century (50 runs by a player in a single innings) by Warriors captain Samir Patel. The Gladiators tried hard to chase the score but could not in the end handing the victory to the Warriors.
