Registration nights for RCEME Army Cadets upcoming

The 1944 RCEME Army Cadets are hosting two open registration night. 

The two registration nights are scheduled to take place on Sept. 8 and Sept. 15 at the Creemore Legion, located at 27 Wellington St. W. 

As well as registering youth in the cadet program the events will also consists of an information session. For those unable to attend either night, registration will be available every Thursday. 

The 1944 RCEME Army Cadets was established in 1986 and looks to provide experiences and training in camping, citizenship, leadership, adventure training, physical fitness, marksmanship, drill, band and much more. 

The cadet program is open for all youth between the ages of 12 to 18 from Creemore, Stayner, Wasaga Beach, Shelburne, New Lowell, Dundalk, Flesherton, Alliston, Lisle, Everett and surrounding areas. 

Those who register will have the opportunity to participate in several upcoming weekend activities scheduled throughout the remainder of the year to see how they like the cadet program. The weekend activities include camping, survival training, marksmanship, obstacle course, abseiling, more. 

Registration is free.
