New heavy equipment and tool rental business opens in Shelburne

A new business in Shelburne has you covered when it comes to skid steers, excavators and tool rentals.  

Located at 736 Steeles St., Unit 3, Shelburne Rentals is a dream come true for owner Johnny King.

King, whose family has lived in Melanchthon for three generations, was born and raised in Hornings Mills, where he currently still lives. 

As a home builder, he dreamed of opening a rental company; now, his dream is
a reality. 

King will rent whatever you need for your construction project and is conveniently located across the street from Shelburne Home Hardware. In fact, one of the prime reasons he decided to open in Shelburne at his location was the thousands of potential customers who frequent Home Hardware and the great visibility from County Road 124. 

Apart from chainsaws, concrete saws, tampers and hand tools, Shelburne Rentals has a complete line of skid steers and excavators for rent. Delivery is available as is pick-up and always with a smile.

King has been a homebuilder since 2014 and has a good knowledge of what the community needs in terms of rentals, having been there and done that as a builder. 

For now, Shelburne Rentals is all King, but as the company grows and expands, he expects to be able to hire staff locally
as required. 

For now, everything is new and shiny, but King is fully capable of repairing and maintaining everything he rents, be that the small engines in his tampers or the larger ones in the bigger machines he offers.
