Easter Skate Eggstravaganza fills Centre Dufferin Recreation Centre

The Easter Bunny paid a visit to the Centre Dufferin Recreation Complex (CDRC) to attend a community event last Sunday, Apr. 2.

The Easter Skate Eggstravaganza returned to the CDRC for a fully day of activity this year after not taking place for a few years due to the pandemic.

Free skating was sponsored by Tim Horton's, Local Home Finder, and Select Mortgages.

Hundreds of people turned out to the Easter Skate Eggstravaganza and enjoyed being on the ice as well as other activities taking place.

There was complimentary hot chocolate and popcorn, treat bags for the kids, and face painting.

Children could also drop off their artwork for an Easter Colouring Contest.

While kids were having fun in the arena, local sports groups held a registration day on the second floor so kids could also sign up for summer sports while they were at the event.
