Orangeville Lions to host Metro Food Drive next weekend

The Orangeville Lions will be collecting donations for the Orangeville Food Bank next weekend. 

The Lions will be set up in front of the Orangeville Metro on April 12 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a van and filling it with community donations. 

Metro will have pre-packaged bags of the Orangeville Food Bank's most needed items available for purchase. 

The local food bank continues to see an increase in usage each month and is struggling to keep up with the rising demand. 

Every donation helps keep the Orangeville Food Bank's shelves stocked, and ensure vulnerable individuals have enough to eat.

Monetary donations are welcomed as well.  

The Orangeville Metro is located at 150 First St.
