Record donation from Headwaters House Tour benefits Headwaters Health Care Foundation

Headwaters Health Care Auxiliary's House Tour Committee announced a record $74,344 donation to Headwaters Health Care Foundation from its 19th Annual House Tour held September 14th. This year's House Tour offered over 800 participants the opportunity to explore seven outstanding private homes located throughout the Hills of Headwaters, enjoy a gourmet lunch buffet prepared by local chefs, and place bids on an extensive list of 269 silent auction items at the Orangeville Agricultural Society Event Centre (OAS). Over 300 loyal corporate sponsors, donors and contributors can be thanked for making this year's House Tour such a memorable and huge success. A special thank you also goes out to the over 100 volunteers who helped to make it a perfect day. Proceeds from the House Tour contribute to Headwaters Health Care Auxiliary's $750,000 pledge to the Foundation's Commitment to Care Campaign, launched in October 2012. In partnership with Headwaters Health Care Foundation, the Auxiliary helps to raise funds for hospital equipment purchases through a number of events and activities. The House Tour Committee comprised of approximately 30 volunteers has already started to prepare for the 20th Annual House Tour and promises some surprises to honor this milestone year.
