Catulpa looking for new board members

Did you know that Catulpa Community Support Services Inclusive Recreation program in partnership with the Children's Treatment Network and with Simcoe's municipal recreation staff provided  support  to more than 300 children  with special /complex needs so that they could  be included with all other children in our community who enjoy the activities of a summer camp program?

Catulpa Community Support Services is a registered non-profit agency serving families/adults and children with special needs/circumstances in Simcoe, York, the Four Counties and Durham. We offer a wide range of services and supports to children & adults with a developmental delay, to those with complex special needs and to assist parents in strengthening parenting skills and parent child relationships. We have been operational in Simcoe County since 1973 and have a staff complement of 85 and a budget exceeding 20 million.

We are seeking community, minded individuals to join a progressive volunteer Board of Directors. We offer you the opportunity to be a member of a Board that operates under the Policy Governance Model, to be part of a great team of dedicated people and to advocate for vulnerable people in our community. We are funded by Health Canada, the County of Simcoe, the Ministry of Community Social Services and the Ministry of Children and Youth Services. We are proud to be a member of the Children's Coalition of Simcoe County.
