God is all powerful and majestic and He loves His creation. The prophet Jeremiah believed this, “O Sovereign LORD! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you!  You show unfailing love to thousands, but you also bring the consequences of one generation's sin upon the next. You are the great and powerful God, the LORD of Heaven's Armies.  You have all wisdom and do great and mighty miracles. You see the conduct of all people, and you give them what they deserve,” Jeremiah 32:17-19. What about us, do we believe God is all powerful and just? God is a loving God and His word is written to us all inclusively and with good reason, the apostle Paul writes, “Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us. And the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we endure and wait patiently for God's promises to be fulfilled, ”Romans 15:4. It is true life can be difficult at times and situations may seem unfair or take too long to be resolved but is anything impossible for God? God never fails His promises, He promised safe arrival but He didn't say it would be all smooth sailing, after all even His Son didn't have an all smooth journey when He came to dwell with us. What does the wisest man to ever live say? “Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture,” Proverbs 37:3. King Solomon was wise because he put his trust in God. Solomon's father, King David also revered and trusted God, “No one is holy like the LORD! There is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God!” 1 Samuel 2:2. Above all we ought to put our trust in God for GOD makes it very clear when He says, “I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?” Jeremiah 32:27. The great men of history who although have accomplished incredible feats, were still human and not immune to failure, temptation and sin. However God is not mere man, whatever we think is great for man to do, God surpasses us all. God is all Holy, God is pure, God is unchanging, and God does not sin for He cannot be tempted. He demonstrated this through His Son when he was lead into the desert. Jesus remained sinless and pure, therefore we can trust Him to help us when we are tempted to sin, to give up or lose faith. Jesus is our rock, our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. God is trustworthy for He cannot lie, (Proverbs 6:16-19), God is truthful and gives us life, (John 14:6). God is righteous so He cannot overlook sin, when He sees injustice and sin He cannot ignore it, He deals with it at the right time even if to us it may seem as though He is too tolerant and we might even say, “Why is God allowing this? Or if God is love, why is this happening? Let us Make no mistake, God is pretty decisive about sin, “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord,” Romans 6:23. Beloved friends, it is a wise choice to put our faith and trust in God and God alone, for he knows what everyone deserves in due time, He is all knowing and all seeing but above all He is righteous and bountiful in love. So when we feel cheated, when things seem unfair let us trust God and be grateful for His blessings, “and love our enemies! Pray for those who persecute us!  In that way, we will be acting as true children of our Father in heaven; For he gives his sunlight to both the evil, and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike.” Matthew 5:44, 45.  God loves all his children and He is not willing that any perish and has proven His loyalty to us when He planned our salvation from the beginning, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life,” John 3:16. God is merciful and forgives all who repent and come to Him. Our salvation is secure when we confess with or mouths and believe with our hearts That Jesus Christ is Lord! May God bless you this week with love and mercy…Asherey Shalom! --------------------------------------------------- Images: --------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------- Post date: 2014-02-12 17:38:21 Post date GMT: 2014-02-12 22:38:21 Post modified date: 2014-02-19 11:41:28 Post modified date GMT: 2014-02-19 16:41:28 ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Export of Post and Page as text file has been powered by [ Universal Post Manager ] plugin from www.gconverters.com
