B&E and ATV theftOn February 19th Dufferin OPP attended the scene of a daytime break and enter on 10th Line in Township of Amaranth. Investigation revealed that unknown suspect(s) attended the garage at the residence between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. February 19. Once inside the garage thieves stole A 2010 Polaris ATV Orange in colour with Ontario License plate 39TZ1. The ATV was equipped with a 5 foot wide black polaris. Snow plow. Also stolen were two chainsaws orange in colour with first being a Stihl brand chainsaw and second being a Husqvarna brand chainsaw. The suspect vehicle leaving the scene was described as a grey Dodge Pickup clean condition with tinted windows. It was last seen travelling southbound on 11th Line of Amaranth Township. Police are reminding residents to contact the OPP Communications Centre immediately at 1-888-310-1122 to report any suspicious activity or suspicious vehicles in the area. Information such as suspect physical descriptions, suspect vehicles and direction of travel are useful tools for investigators. |
