Pirate Pete says, ‘Get Crafty Shelburne!’

Susan Fraser, a resident of Orangeville and local teacher, recently qualified as one of the Top 8 finalists in the ‘Children's Advil, More Time to Play' contest. To enter, Canadian residents submitted home videos on how to make a unique craft item. The Top 8 selections represent the 8 hours of pain and fever relief Children's Advil brings. Fraser, along with her husband and their 2.5 year old son, created a video showing how to make fun pirate ship out of sponges – worthy of the open sea! The video also features four Shelburne children, who attend Primrose Public School. Now that they've made the Top 8, Pirate Fraser and her crew need your vote to win. The grand prize winner will receive $10,000 in this CityTV ‘CityLine' sponsored contest. Votes can be cast until March 31st at www.moretimetoplay.ca then click on ‘Pirate Pete's Crafty Ship'. Cast yer vote, or walk the plank Shelburne! Pictured, from left: Kyra Weightman, Susan Fraser, William Holmes and Pirate Pete, of course!
