Title: R.I.D.E. program leads to drug seizure

On Monday March 10th members of the Shelburne Police were conducting a R.I.D.E. program during the late evening hours.  A gray Toyota caught the attention of the officers which triggered an investigation. As a result of the investigation a significant quantity of marijuana was seized and the driver, 27 year old Ryan Carey of Mulmur Township was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance. Carey was released on an appearance notice with a court date in April at the Orangeville courthouse.
