Two churches broken into in two weeks


The Orangeville Police Service is investigating Break and Enter incidents at two Churches in the past two weeks.

On Tuesday March 18, 2014 police received a report that the Tweedsmuir Presbyterian Church on John Street had been broken into sometime between 8 p.m. on March 17 and 9 a.m. on March 18.

On Monday March 31, police received a report that Westminster United Church on Broadway had been broken into sometime between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. that day.

In both cases the culprit(s) gained access through a window and made off with a small amount of cash.

Police have no suspects at this time and are asking to hear from anyone that may have noticed suspicious activity around the two churches during the time frames mentioned.
