Springs new arrivals Migration is on and you never know what you may see. After living in Southern Ontario for 23 years, I have never seen a Sora, (this one pictured at Big Bay Point in Innisfil). This is a marsh bird and is sitting in a ditch full of water surrounded by a thicket of bushes. Very well protected and safe from predators and humans. Very healthy looking so obviously getting some good food here. A totally amazing sight indeed. Photo by Jennifer Howard |
