All I want for My Birthday is Breakfast Food Items?

When Hyland Heights kindergarten student, Molly Hart was able to help plan her birthday party where she could invite friends, receive gifts, and really enjoy herself, she had a wonderful idea. She decided to ask her friends to bring food items and not just any food items, the good stuff kids like to eat at breakfast. Hyland Heights has a very active breakfast program. Molly wanted to give back for her birthday and was proud as punch to be able to give her birthday present to the program, three boxes full of exactly what the program needed. Inspired by the Fill Your Bucket philosophy encouraging positive behaviour through acts of kindness, Molly's bucket is on its way to being filled as this youngster already reaps the benefits of being unselfish and helping others. Coincidence? Young Molly's last name is Hart! Pictured, from left: Child Youth Counsellor, Tara McCabe runs the Hyland Heights Breakfast Program. Kindergarten student, Molly Hart and her mother, Mairi MacRae surprised McCabe with three boxes of food Hart acquired by having a birthday party and instead of gifts, party goers were asked to bring food items.
