Title: Stunt driver charges in Mono

On May 12, at 8:10 a.m., an officer from the Dufferin Detachment of the OPP was conducting speed enforcement on Fifth Sideroad in the Town of Mono. The officer observed the driver of a 2009 Toyota travelling eastbound at a high rate of speed and determined the speed at 128 km/hr in a 70 km/hr zone. As a result, a 26 year old female driver from Shelburne, Ontario was charged with Race a Motor Vehicle. Her vehicle was impounded for seven days as a result of the stunt driving charge. The driver is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on June 25th.
