There’s a New Barber on Main Street

Adding charm to Shelburne's Main St., Lynn Goutouski has opened a barber shop. This proud and skilled third generation Barber once owned a barber shop on Owen Sound Street many years ago and in keeping with family tradition, Goutouski's daughter will be taking up the family profession when she gets her licence in the fall. “My family began in the barber profession in 1901,” said Goutouski. “We specialize in cutting men's hair, children's hair, and we average around $15 a cut, $12 for seniors, and kids under 12 years old are generally around the $10 mark.” Goutouski points out that she can achieve some pretty stylish haircuts for boys but reminds, she is not a stylist commenting, “We have great, talented women's stylists here in Shelburne. I am not a stylist and women might want to remember that. I'm pretty excited to be here.” For more information, contact Goutouski at The Barber Shop at 519 306-1010.
