There’s a new beauty in town!

Local resident Doug Schild has owned this 1952 Ford F2, completely restored to its “even better” original state of absolute magnificence since January 2014. From interior to exterior and even underneath, this automobile is something to see. It's a real eye catcher! To coin the phrase, it's not something you see everyday is to undervalue the work done here. Even in its day, this beauty would have shone far superior above the rest. It's a treat to run into and it's right here in Shelburne.“I bought it in Scottsdale, Arizona. The truck itself is originally from Kentucky and a guy from Minnesota restored it. I've always wanted a truck to putt around in and it's a fresh re-build. I had hoped to attend Shelburne's Car Show, but I was away. I plan to go next year,” Schild said. Adding “I had been looking for a couple of years and I noticed a lot of 51's around, but I wanted a 52 – more of a farm truck. I think it looks better than new!” And like a proud new parent, this baby will be treasured, adored, admired and of course, well loved for years to come.
