Title: E–bike driver charged

On Saturday, August 23, at 4:33 p.m., Grey County OPP observed a male operating an E-bike on Crawford Rd. in the Township of Chatsworth without a helmet. After stopping the operator of the E-bike, the officer formed the opinion that he had been drinking alcohol. Breath tests were conducted, resulting in a 7 day driver's licence suspension. Reginald Teeter, 53, of Orangeville, was issued a Provincial Offence Notice for failing to wear a proper helmet on a motor assisted bicycle under the Highway Traffic Act.
