Town council accepts ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Have you been nominated to take part in the Ice Bucket Challenge benefitting ALS?
On the evening of August 27th, Shelburne's town council accepted a nomination, a challenge brought on by Mayor Ed Crewson's daughter, Jennifer Crewson, for their Ice Bucket Challenge.
In return, Shelburne's town council nominated all councils within Dufferin County.
Millions of dollars has been raised since the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge began and as the challenge successfully travels the globe, there is new hope for a cure for this ravenous disease, otherwise known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.
Shelburne's town council added to the millions of private donations already made and councillors hope that other Dufferin area council members accept the challenge to help raise money for this important cause.
As Mayor ed Crewson says on a video taken by Jennifer Willoughby, Deputy Clerk for the Town of Shelburne, (posted online at www.facebook.com/shelburnefreepress), “Don't forget to donate!”
