Crossroads Community Church gives back during ‘Praise the Park Day’

Crossroads Community Church celebrated their community on Sunday September 7th at 4 p.m. hosting a gathering at Jack Downing Park offering a free barbecue and a wealth of entertainment.
“This is the third year we've held this event, which is called Praising the Park,” commented Pastor Don Hume. “The Crossroads Band, Ken Shaw, Wes Vardy, and Gary Heaslip will be performing throughout the event.”
The group, of the Wesleyan Denomination in addition to wanting to give back to the community also wanted one more thing, “We just wanted to bless the community and show the love of Jesus,” explained Pastor Hume.
Fair to say the weather was accommodating and all who partook enjoyed great music, the free barbecue, great company with friends, neighbours, even passer-byes touring for the day.
