Title: Get to know Dan Sample

 Dan Sample is running for council in the upcoming municipal election. On Friday, September 12th, Sample hosted a “Get to Know” barbecue at Shelburne Town Pharmacy, located in the Giant Tiger Plaza in Shelburne.
Sample, a soccer coach and soccer board member, baseball coach, President of the Curling Club, and active Kinsmen is no stranger to the Shelburne, but community members who do not know Sample yet, had the chance to speak with him, one-on, one, over a free hot dog.
“I've worked with Honda for 27 years, I'm project lead for North America for Process Engineering, (creative solutions),” said Sample.
Self described as a strong community member trying to organize more events in Shelburne, Sample admits, though he has moved around frequently as a youngster, coming back to Shelburne and living here for the last three years, his focus is on providing his own children with roots in the community of Shelburne.
Sample's slogan for his campaign is simple and direct, “We're in this Together”.
Owner of Shelburne Town Pharmacy, Sanjay Lekhi, known for supporting the Shelburne community any way he can, was only too pleased to offer his location for Sample to host a barbecue.
