Shelburne Legion newsMonday afternoon euchre is still a big hit at the branch. Bingo is in the Warriors Hall with a jackpot of $700 on Monday evenings. Wednesday mornings our Vets meet. New Veterans are welcome to join in. You do not need to be a member of our branch to come and enjoy the coffee and conversations. Poster and Literary competitions have begun in Dufferin County. Good Luck to all those competing. Friday October 3 is a wing night in the Warriors Hall with entertainment by Wasted Measures. Sunday October 5 we will be serving our monthly breakfast from 9 – 12 p.m. Euchre will be in the Museum Room with registration at 12:30 p.m., play begins at 1 p.m. We will also be having our Thanksgiving Meat Spin beginning at 2 p.m. The Halloween Bash will be October 31st, which is also a wing night with DJ Jerry Daniels. There will be a best costume competition for the little ones until 9:30 p.m., then there will be a costume competition for the big ones later in the evening. Volunteers are a very large part of our branch. We welcome any high school students looking for their community service hours. Just give us a call at 519 925-3800. |
