Someone Say Pumpkins? Evan Besley of Besley Farms admitted this year was not the best year for growing pumpkins even though his farm turned out some beauties both in size and color. For those of us who remember the Besley fields of beautiful brightly yellow colored flowers just a few weeks ago and wondered what was growing there, the mystery is solved as Besley explained, “This area is one of Ontario's biggest producers of Canola.” And there you have it.
