<br>Representatives from Trillium Ford Lincoln Shelburne were on hand last Wednesday afternoon at the Centre Dufferin Recreation Complex (Shelburne Arena) to present a cheque for $2040 to the Shelburne Minor Hockey Association (SMHA). The proceeds, raised at a ‘Drive a Ford' event held on September 19th at the same location, will be used to reduce registration costs for the SMHA 2016–17. During a ‘Drive a Ford' event community members, and family and friends of the players were able to test drive all their favorite Ford vehicles – including Escape, F150, and Edge – on marked course, for just $20, with one hundred per cent of the proceeds donated to Shelburne Minor Hockey. Trillium Ford Lincoln held a similar event last year in support of Honeywood Minor Hockey.
