Members of the Dufferin/Nottawasaga Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) executed a search warrant yesterday at a Broadway address in Orangeville.

CSCU conducted an intelligence led investigation and acted on information that was obtained by the public regarding the “porch pirates,” used survallience and executed the warrant. CSCU was able to retrieve many stolen items from the residence and arrested two females. They were charged with:

• Possession of property obtained by crime

• Theft under $5000

The investigation is continuing. The females were released with a future court date in Orangeville.
