<content-encoded><![CDATA[Dear editor:
Every single Canadian has the right to express their opinion. That is a given.
One would expect, however, that a newspaper, who in all probability sells their paper to all Shelburnittes, even the new ones, would not publish a letter without naming the author.
If you want to express your opinion, no matter how bigoted it might be, then the paper that deems it newsworthy enough to publish it should demand you sign your name.
Shame on the Shelburne Free Press.
And to the new people who have arrived here in the last several years, welcome. Please know we are not all as culturally as insensitive as the anonymous writer.
Karren Wallace,
Shelburne]]></content-encoded>
