On Saturday evening, the Shelburne BIA held its annual Santa Claus Parade. The well attended night-lit event featured floats entered by local merchants, business owners and service clubs. In addition to the parade, the BIA also hosted a window decorating contest and a ‘Christmas Traditions' colouring contest. The organization, responsible for the beautification of Shelburne's shopping district and promotion of local business, even welcomed Santa Claus to shop in the downtown core, prior to the parade.
