<p>The doors to the Shelburne Legion, Branch 220, will be closed for the immediate future.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Shelburne Legion announced its closure in a social media post on Facebook on Wednesday, Oct. 23.</p>

<p>“It pains me to write this, but your Shelburne Legion is closed until further notice. We hope to see you again soon,” reads the statement from the Shelburne Legion.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A reason for the closure wasn't disclosed as of press time, and a timeline for how long the legion will remain closed has not been released.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As a result of the closure, legion activities, including the Remembrance Day Ceremony on Nov. 11, have been put on pause.&nbsp;</p>
