The Stay Warm Shelburne Coat Drive is underway, in an effort to make sure everyone has a warm coat for the coming winter months.

The initiative is sponsored by Go With Crowe Real Estate in Shelburne.

“We are accepting coats for all ages and genders and any other outerwear, like hats and mitts,” explained Realtor, Claire Knight. “We are challenging other businesses in the area to be a part of this. We are working with the Shelburne hamper program as well as giving to private citizens. It is open to everyone who needs a winter coat. There are a lot of people who will need a coat this coming winter.”

For every ten coats donated, Go With Crowe Real Estate will buy a new one to be donated.

You can drop off used but in good condition coats and other assorted outwear at locations around Shelburne now through Nov. 30.

Drop-off locations include the Shelburne Free Press office, Streams Community Hub, Shelburne Optometry, and Crewson Insurance.
