Stunt driving


On Wednesday October 7, at 2 p.m. Dufferin OPP were on Highway 10 in Town of Mono conducting speed enforcement. Police observed a
Ford Escape sport utility vehicle travelling Northbound at a high rate of speed.
Officer activated the radar and clocked the vehicle at 141 km in a posted 80 km per hour zone on Highway 10 at Dufferin Road #8. Police initiated a traffic stop.
As result of police investigation a 22 year old Oakville man had his driver's license and vehicle impounded for 7 days. He will appear in Orangeville court at a later date on a charge of Race Motor vehicle.
