Horning's Mills Community Hall will host a ‘Market in the Mills' on Saturday May 10th. Market: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (admission is free). Brunch: 10 a.m. to noon. $10/adult; $5/child. The upcoming Spring Market will feature a number of local artisans and their hand-crafted one of a kind wares including jewellery, beautiful knits and crocheted pieces, as well as some other fine fashion pieces & accessories, wood-crafts, jewellery boxes, a collection of art and art cards, hand-crafted soaps, salves, and lotions, some sweet and savoury treats including home made soups, breads and cake pops, as well as some great gardening gifts including birdhouses, seedlings, Native trees and more… a great opportunity to find a Mother's Day gift or a little something for yourself that is locally handmade and to enjoy a fabulous brunch catered by some of Horning's Mills finest cooks while you're at it.
