<br>Old Country Farm “simple, fresh, and all natural” produce has joined a wide variety of vendors at the Shelburne Farmers' Market across from the Shelburne Library. Richard Kendall (left) and Damir Kamenski (right) are partners in organic food production and present a beautiful display of wholesome fresh food at their booth, including eggs, produce and preserves – all “chemical pesticide, fertilizer and preservative free.” Old Country Farm, launched in Amaranth 2010, includes a self serve “Farm Gate Store” which is open Wednesday to Sunday – from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Old Country Farm is located at 385042 20th Sideroad in Amaranth Township. July produce at the farm includes among others: salad mix, mizuna, spinach, peas in the pod, garlic scapes, Swiss chard, green onions, zucchini, and baby carrots. Check out their facebook page facebook.com/oldcountryfarm and plan to meet Richard and Damir on Thursdays at the Shelburne Market from 3–7 p.m.
