Gord Vandergrinten and his daughter Lindsay were one of many musical entertainers that filled the Landman farm with music at the first “Savour Fair.” Proceeds from the event will be put towards scholarships for local high school students continuing their education in the agricultural field.
Vice Chair, Shirley Boxem (left) and Karren Wallace of the North Dufferin Agricultural and Community Taskforce (NDACT) joined “Savour Fair” on August 24th in celebration of Dufferin’s harvest – reminding guests that our farmland and drinking water are precious resources that need to be protected for future generations. The event, held at Landman Gardens and Bakery, featured “the best food, drink and art that the Hills of the Headwaters has to offer.”
Dufferin market gardeners, artisans, chefs and entertainers came together August 24th for the first ever “Savour Fair” located at Landman Gardens in East Luther. Crowds gathered beneath beautiful willows for the event which featured food and beverage tasting as well as a fresh produce market.
