So successful, PS Studio’s ‘Music Together’ program announces a second class for even more parents and babies to sign up and enjoy music.
Pamela Scott runs the program as a licensed Franchise and has years of experience which lead her to this point in her life.
“I’ve been involved in music my whole life. I sang for Queen Elizabeth once, and I’ve been in Musical Theater,” commented Scott-Demetriou. “All babies are born musical, they are not always taught to foster it, while other cultures really have a cultural need for it. We need to foster this from an early age. Our program covers pitch, language, rhythm, and within 45 minutes, we cover 14 songs.”
According to Scott, a healthy fostering of a child’s musical talent can create a ripple effect of positive learning throughout their lives and while each song focuses on a different skill, parents can focus on their children creating a unique bonding, and enjoyable experience.
Developed by child psychologists and musical therapists, the program is uniquely designed, and Scott acknowledges that every song has a learning purpose. “We get to experience, very unique sounds from bells to bongos, and in 3 years we never repeat a song.”
Originally, Scott began teaching classes in Orangeville and due to special request, she began teaching classes in Shelburne at Shelburne Town Pharmacy’s Customer Appreciation back room. So popular in Shelburne, Scott is announcing she is opening a second class in Shelburne. At the reasonable price of $150 for a 10 week session, parents and children can enjoy a ten week session for only $11 plus a $40 book fee. Classes are for kids from baby age to age 5 years.
