On March 29, at 3:06 a.m. police were on patrol on Highway 10 near the 30th Sideroad in Town of Mono.
Police clocked a 2013 Hyundai Elantra southbound at 104 km/hr in moving radar. Police initiated a traffic stop and spoke to male driver.
The lone occupant of vehicle showed obvious signs of intoxication and was arrested for Impaired driving and taken to Dufferin Detachment for breath tests.
Upon arrival at detachment the driver refused to provide a breath sample into the intoxilizer.
As a result Robert Mackey, 27 years of age, from Chatsworth was charged with Impaired driving and Fail to provide a Breath sample. He was released when sober and will appear in Orangeville court at a later date to answer to the charge.
